Name: Mei Amor
Hair: Red-brown; described as "fox-colored"
Eyes: Originally green; turned red
Birthday: August 25

Background: It's a bit complicated; she's my most developed character. I wrote a little thing from her point of view here, if you want to read it. Yes, she's a bit of a Sue. Get over it. :P

Personality: She's selfish and manipulative on the inside; calm, collected, and kind on the outside. She'd rather spend a day at the library than interacting with people, however. She thinks things through - a lot - before doing anything. The few times she had jumped in without thinking, it's always turned out for the worst. If confronted with a problem, she tends to ignore it. If it won't go away, she'll take her time solving it. Unless it affects here directly and in the extreme, she doesn't care.

Name: Sohma Ishco

Background: In short, Ishco's parents died, and she's now living with Yuki, Kyo, Shigure, and Tohru. She does the same things as Tohru - cooking, cleaning, etc. She is, however, a little more in the background, and enjoys being away from the house more than in it.
Something else important about her is that she's cursed. Curse of the Elements. Every time she gets angry, she starts throwing fire. It's not very fun. :P

Personality: She's rather laid back; taking things as they come. Given she likes them. And she can be picky. If confronted with a problem, she jumps in head first and make things up as she goes along, rather than sitting back and figuring out a solution before solving it. The lives of her loved ones tend to be more important than her own.

Name: Ryou Kanashiikawa
Hair: Blue
Eyes: dark Blue

Originally from Fandom: Fruits Basket

Background: Ryou lives with his mother in Japan; his father lives in Germany with his new wife and daughter. At a young age, Ryou had come to befriend Ishco, but because of certain circumstances, they were separated, and she ended up forgetting him. As she was his first crush - and he, hers - this was a major blow to his self-esteem. Like Ishco, he's cursed with "curse of the elements". Every time his mood falls just south of cheery, the weather turns rainy.

Personality: Ryou has a double-sided personality; he appears calm and even content on the surface, but beneath there lies turmoil. While on the outside he's accepting, inwardly he is incredibly selfish and competitive and is willing to do about anything to save his reputation and come out on top. If confronted with a problem, Ryou acts as the follower, but in actuality he will manipulate the situation to have an outcome he is satisfied with.

***Birthday: Migume was born five minutes before midnight on June 21; Keyoko was born four minutes after midnight, on the 22^nd. Hence how the twins can have different birthdays.

Background: When her parents divorced less than a year after she and her sister were born, Keyoko stayed with her father in Japan while her mother moved to America. Keyoko grew up getting everything she wanted - she was not, however, a demanding child. In fact, the fact that she didn't ask for anything made her father think that she wasn't happy enough, causing him to overindulge.
Keyoko has it pretty bad with her "curse of the elements" as well: Every time she gets happy, there are tremors - small earthquakes, even.

Personality: Despite the fact Keyoko can't show much happiness, she learned later in her childhood that she could show her approval or "happiness" without causing earthquakes everywhere she went. After learning this, she became a much more cheery person. She appears to be a little ditzy or naive on the outside, but she is usually aware of the situation and what's going on. ...Usually.

Background: At less than a year of age, Migume was separated from her twin sister, Keyoko. She and her mother moved to America. Years later, she unknowingly befriends Keyoko while she is with her father in America on an extended business trip. Soon, they realize they're sisters - twins, no less. When their mother decides to go back to Japan, Keyoko is sad to see them go. Three years later, when the twins are due to start high school, Keyoko shows up on Migume's doorstep, asking to live with them now.
Migume has the "curse of the elements". Arguably, she's the worst off. Any time she gets energetic, the wind starts blowing. That sucks. :P

Personality: Migume is the very epitome of a lazy genius. Any stranger who glances upon Migume would guess that she was just a slacker. That's what her math teacher thought at her first day at her new high school. When he caught Migume dozing off in class, he called her up to the board and made her do a problem for punishment. However, when she began citing bizarre formulas that the teacher didn't even recognize to prove her point, he let her sit down, and didn't bother her about sleeping in class again.
